The Dark Advent

The tale of a fisherman and his wife who live by the edge of the sea. Shortly before Christmas the light disappears into the sea one night and doesn't rise again the next morning. The fisherman must work out how to catch the light before everyone withers away in the dark, not least his wife. The answer to the riddle comes from an unexpectedly festive source and the moral of the tale is decidedly flippant, though seasonally satisfying!
